Lamb of God , Mercyful Fate , Dimmu Borgir , and Testament are among the bands confirmed for Bloodstock Open Air 2022. The festival is scheduled to take place from August 11th to 14th of next year.
The project also features Bury Tomorrow , Vio-lence , GWAR , Exodus , Philip H. Anselmo and The Illegals , Sacred Reich , The Black Dahlia Murder , Life of Agony , and many more.
In addition, there is one more headliner yet to be announced. For several of the participating artists, the shows performed during the festival will be their only performances in the UK next year. Tickets are on sale at the festival's official website.

“Mercyful Fate is coming to Bloodstock… This will be a dangerous encounter you don’t want to miss,” the band said in a statement. Furthermore, vocalist King Diamond added, “This time, we’re bringing the Devil himself.”
“It’s been a long time since we rocked the Merry Olde festivals,” commented Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe . “What better way to announce our return than with a headline slot at Bloodstock? Until then, pack your bags and chill out, England – Lamb of God… see you in the summer of 2022.”
This year's Bloodstock festival began last week, featuring names like Judas Priest , Devin Townsend , Kreator , and others, and concluded on August 15th.
