Lamb Of God and Kreator released the song “State of Unrest” this Friday, the 10th. The heavy metal track celebrates their joint tour of the same name.
“It was only a matter of time, and now that the State of Unrest is about to begin, we think it’s worth celebrating! We are very proud to reveal a historic and creative collaboration between Lamb of God and Kreator; the new original song 'State of Unrest',” declared Lamb Of God in a statement on social media .
Furthermore, the groups' collaboration is a tribute to their late friend Riley Gale , who passed away in 2020 due to pulmonary edema State of Unrest tour originally included Power Trip in the lineup. To honor the memory of our friend Riley Gale, all proceeds from the single 'State of Unrest' will go to Dallas Hope Charities, a non-profit organization Riley worked closely with, providing shelter and resources for homeless LGBTQ youth in his beloved hometown. We hope you enjoy this special song and we are grateful for your support.”
State of Unrest tour takes place between February and March in Europe. More information can be found on the official website .
This isn't the only joint tour the bands will be doing in 2023. While Lamb Of God joins forces with Pantera , Kreator joins forces with Sepultura .
In April, the groups will arrive in Brazil to perform at the Summer Breeze festival .
