In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the album Ashes of the Wake , the band Lamb of God announced a deluxe reissue of the work that placed them at number 27 on the Billboard 200 . The release is scheduled for August 30th.
In addition to the original songs, the edition contains new remixes, demos, and exclusive live versions. The track "Another Nail for Your Coffin" features guest appearances by Matt Honey from the band Kublai Khan TX and Alex Taylor from Malevolence.
The edition will be available on standard black vinyl, a 2-LP "Yellow Smoke" version, and a 2-CD set. The band will perform the complete album during their tour with Mastodon .

Randy Blythe , vocalist of Lamb of God, explained how the material was re-recorded and the choice of guest artists for the song (via Consequence Sound ): “I’m not really into re-recording our existing material – old songs are a snapshot of where we were as a band at that time, for better or for worse.”
“But when the idea came up of having a guest vocalist redo my parts on 'Another Nail for Your Coffin,' I was totally on board. Anyone who’s seen Malevolence and Kublai Khan TX knows that Alex and Matt are amazing – it’s an honor to have these guys bringing new life to the song 20 years after first recording it.”
Mark Morton , the band's guitarist, also commented: "Matt and Alex breathed fire on this new and updated version and gave it a fierce, modern energy. I'm happy to see this song shine after all this time!"
