Lacuna Coil releases a new version of 'Comalies' in celebration of the album's 20th anniversary.

'Comalies XX' is a "deconstructed" version of the group's third studio album.

Lacuna Coil released a new version of the album Comalies this Friday, the 14th. The new version is titled Comalies XX and is a "deconstructed" version of the group's third studio album. Listen to the track at the end of this article.

The band released the album in 2002 and has now decided to revisit the work, not only by re-recording the songs, but also by giving it a new look that, according to them, is more modern and current.

“This isn’t a reboot or a spin-off or anything like that,” vocalist Cristina Scabbia in a press statement. “We just wanted to give these songs a 2022 makeover and see how this guy or girl who was born 20 years ago would still look good in 2022.”

Comalies was originally released on October 29, 2002, by Century Media Records. The album, which featured the band's single "Heaven's A Lie," sold over 300,000 copies in the United States alone.
