The German band Lacrimosa announced this Tuesday, the 16th, that vocalist and keyboardist Anne Nurmi has stepped away from band activities due to a serious illness.
Through an official statement on social media , the band says they are in shock but did not give further details about Anne's illness. Read the statement below:
"Dear friends, Today, unfortunately, I must inform you that Anne Nurmi is seriously ill!
We ourselves are in shock and deeply saddened that Anne will not be able to participate in the upcoming tour. Thank you for your understanding and prayers!"
The band is preparing for a tour in Germany, but has not yet announced if there will be a replacement for Anne. Lacrimosa performed in Brazil at the Bangers Open Air festival in March of this year.
