Last Friday, the 27th, the national rock scene received the sad news of the passing of musician Pit Passarell , best known for his role as founder, main composer, and bassist of VIPER .
Well-known in the heavy metal scene, not only for composing most of VIPER's catalog, but also for the incredible charisma he always had with fans, Passarell was battling pancreatic cancer and fell ill during a show at the end of August. He had been hospitalized and undergoing a series of tests since then. Confirmation of Pit's health status was released by VIPER the day before his death.
The seventh-day mass for the musician will take place this Friday, October 4th, starting at 7 PM at the Santa Teresinha Parish (R. Maranhão, 617), in Higienópolis, São Paulo.
