Norwegian band Kvelertak have released the single “Fanden Ta Dette Hull!” from their new album Splid , scheduled for release on February 14th. This is the third song from the band's new cycle, following “Bråtebrann” and “Crack Of Doom ,” the latter a collaboration with Mastodon bassist and vocalist Troy Sanders .
After releasing Nattesferd in 2016, the band underwent its first lineup change since 2009. Vocalist Erlend Hjelvik left the group and Ivar Nikolaisen . Splid , therefore, marks the first work with the new vocalist.
“ Splid (which in Portuguese means “discord”) is a deep dive into Western gluttony, our stupidity, and the abysses of the Earth,” said the vocalist. Listen to “Fanden Ta Dette Hull!” below and then see the cover and tracklist of the album Splid.
