KVELERTAK announces new album 'Endling' and releases single “Krøterveg Te Helvete”

The Norwegian progressive metal band's album is coming in the second half of 2023

Norwegian progressive metal band KVELERTAK has announced the release of their new album, Endling, which will be released on September 8th.

Along with the album announcement, the music video for the first single, “Krøterveg Te Helvete,” was released. According to the band, the track is a “celebration of the intolerable levels of hardship of being in a popular rock band in 2023.” (via Blabbermouth )

Thematically, Endling follows in the footsteps of the 2020 album, Splid , which was acclaimed by international critics. In it, KVELERTAK delves even deeper into local folklore and Norwegian legends, as guitarist Vidar Landa :

“In Endling , we tell stories of extinct and endangered men and women of Norway. New and old myths, culture and rituals come to life – folklore that doesn’t fit the concept of TV series. Vikings and trolls are for television. This is the real thing.”
