Kurt Cobain is probably among the artists with the most personal items available at auctions and estate sales, from strands of hair to the house where he lived with Courtney Love until the last day of his life .
While the house where Cobain spent part of his childhood and adolescence in Aberdeen, in the United States, has become a cultural heritage site and is open to visitors , the same did not happen with the home of the musician and his father in Montesano, in the state of Washington.
According to information from Rolling Stone , Cobain lived in that residence for only a few years after his parents' divorce and left the residence when his father remarried in 1982, when he was 15 years old.
The property is for sale for US$279,000, more than R$1.5 million at the current exchange rate. According to those responsible for the sale, the house has already received several potential buyers, although a good portion are probably just curious fans. “I think some people are just looking to see, to be honest. It’s a unique place. This is something nobody knew about,” said real estate agent Colt Fairley . See details of the house here .
