Giants In The Trees was formed by Novoselic in 2017
Krist Novoselic , bassist for Nirvana , returned to the music scene in 2017 with his new band Giants In The Trees . The group consists of Krist, singer Jillian Raye , guitarist Ray Prestagard , and drummer Erik Friend .
That same year, their self-titled debut album was released, produced by Jack Endino , an icon of grunge. Endino was responsible for works by artists such as Mudhoney, Soundgarden, and Nirvana .
This April, the band released Volume 2, containing 10 new songs. The sounds explore various styles, but never lose their indie rock essence.
The newest single from the album “Star Machine”. With a funky vibe, it features a video that invites the viewer on a ride in an old blue car. The production is by Eric Luck and Connor Robinson .
