Leader and vocalist speaks with Wikimetal
In an interview with Wikimetal, Kreator Mille Petrozza explained that early in their career, the band was ridiculed for their different sound: "We were the underdogs .
Mille recounts a festival where they played with the German band Sinner: “I remember we played at a festival in southern Germany. We played in the afternoon, after Sinner, who were an old and traditional band. We were ridiculed because they had never heard anything like our sound and didn't know what to think.”
Mille said that although the band looks back with good humor, the period was complicated: “It was difficult for us for a while, but it was brief. Our fans grew up and supported us.”
