In an interview before a show in Arizona, Kreator guitarist and vocalist Mille Petrozza spoke about the possibility of a tour by the German Big Four, composed of Kreator, Destruction, Sodom, and Tankard. Petrozza was asked about a statement made by Destruction's frontman, Schmier, who said that the other bands are waiting for Kreator to tour with them
“That’s not true, we’re working on it behind the scenes. The thing is… Hey Schmier, I love you, you know. It’s all about planning. For me, for me and for Schmier, we have the same desire. We want to do a whole world tour. But the other bands only want to do two or three weeks a year because they can’t do more than that – they have jobs. So we’re screwed. We tried. I’m being honest with you, we tried to do a whole tour in South America with Kreator, Sodom, and Destruction. We called the others, but only two of the four bands could. So it’s not our fault – it’s neither mine nor Schmier’s. It’s the other two bands.”.
"But now we're looking at some festivals or select shows that we could do. But I don't think it's that important. For me, we're touring so much, and Destruction too, that it would be a nice bonus, a cool thing to do especially for the fans, the fans would love it. But if it doesn't happen, that's okay. I'd like to see it, but it's not that I'm blocking it. I'm the one trying to make it happen, but some things I don't… For me, if I were to do it, I'd want all the fans in the world to be able to see it, not just the fans in Germany.”
