Korn may come to Brazil later this year, more specifically next August. The band is expected to headline the Backbone , which takes place in Brasília.
The members of Supercombo revealed the information during a live broadcast on 89 FM, the Rock Radio station . The band, which is scheduled to play at the same event, let slip the information about the potential headliner.
In the video, when a band member mentions a possible healer, the production team turns off the microphone to find out the name. As soon as the microphone is turned back on, someone says, "I used to have a Korn cover band when I was younger."
The news is causing a great stir on social media; however, Backbone has only confirmed Supercombo and Ratos de Porão . There is still no official information about the headliner or Korn's shows in Brazil.
The potential show would mark Korn's seventh visit to Brazil, as well as eight years since the band's last visit to the country in 2017.
Korn surprises at Festival
As headliners of the Download Festival, Korn delivered a performance considered by Louder as an "absolute triumph," elevating the band to the level of other Download headliners such as Metallica , Black Sabbath , and Guns N' Roses .
According to Louder , Korn's performance stands on its own "without fireworks, without an elaborate show, just a kaleidoscope of lights and some of the best nu metal music."
