The new single from the album The Nothing was released with a dark and psychedelic video.
Korn is back! After releasing “You'll Never Find Me” , the group has released the heavy and brutal “Cold”, the new single from the album The Nothing , which is scheduled for release on September 13th.
The successor to The Serenity Of Suffering (2016), The Nothing is available for pre-order and, according to frontman Jonathan Davis , will address antagonistic themes such as good and evil, loss and gain, hope and despair. "All of this exists in our world at every moment of our lives," he says.
“It’s not something we choose to live with, so we need to accept the presence of everything that surrounds us with every breath we take,” explains Davis. The ambiguous content of the album is already visible to fans. With a heavy and dark beginning, “Cold” then brings lighter and more electronic sections from the group. Screams are soon complemented by vocal fragments of lightness and subtlety.
The release of the track was accompanied by a video created by artist Andrzej Gavriss, which features dark and psychedelic elements to bring Korn's sound to life. The band is currently preparing for a tour with Alice in Chains in several North American cities, preceding the release of The Nothing.
