's song "Freak on a Leash" Kornhas resurfaced on social media after being incorporated into a viral trend on TikTok, thanks to an unusual connection with pop music.
According to the website Loudwire, the movement began when fans started combining the choreography of the song "Lush Life"by singer Zara Larssonwith the heaviness of "Freak on a Leash." The dance, originally created for a 2015 pop hit, gained new prominence when synchronized with the heavy hit by the American band.
Zara Larsson even posted videos teaching the steps, which helped to further boost the trend. Then, users of the platform began to replicate the mashup, creating a wave of videos that mix completely different universes.
With the growth of the trend, "Freak on a Leash" has once again gained prominence among new audiences. The track, which was part of the album Follow the Leader (1998), had already been a huge success. The track won the Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video and won awards at the MTV Video Music Awards 1999
