Korn , an American nu metal band formed in 1993, announced on Wednesday, the 5th, a one-off show to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the release of their first LP, Korn (1994, Immortal Records).
The show, scheduled for October 5th, will take place at BMO in Los Angeles, United States, and will feature performances by Evanescence and Gojira , as well as Daron Malakian and Scars on Broadway , Spiritbox , and Vended .
Jonathan Davis , vocalist of Korn, stated (via Blabbermouth ): “Reflecting on Korn’s thirty years fills me with immense gratitude for our journey, the growth we’ve experienced, and the incredible bond we share with our fans. It’s rewarding to see how our music has touched so many lives around the world.”
He continues: “From the beginning of our small club until now in the stadiums, it has been an unforgettable journey, and we owe it all to our incredible, immortal and loyal community that made it possible. I am truly looking forward to this amazing night to celebrate together.”
