Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, Korn's original bassist, said he will not be returning to the band anytime soon.

In 2021, the bassist and one of the band's founders said he was taking a hiatus from Korn. However, he recently revealed that he has had no contact with his bandmates since leaving.

“Fieldy” gave an interview to The Dr. Greenthumb Show , hosted by B-Real of Cypress Hill . The bassist responded to whether Korn fans could expect him to return to live performances [transcription via Metal Sucks ]: “I won’t be doing any shows, but we’ll see what tomorrow holds. You never know, but for now, no.”

Since the bassist's departure, the band has featured Ra Díaz from Suicidal Tendencies . Although he is not currently active in the group, his name appears in the credits of the album Requiem , released in 2022.

In an interview on the Basement Talk , "Fieldy" responded about his relationship with Korn: "Yes, everything's cool. It's nice to see that they're still going strong. In my case, I'm just enjoying a quieter time."
