Korn has announced their 14th studio album, Requiem, for release next year. It will be released on February 4, 2022, via Loma Vista.
To celebrate the announcement, the group released their first single, “Start The Healing,” which you can listen to below. The song was accompanied by a music video with a very ethereal visual style, directed by Tim Saccenti.
Speaking about the video, Saccenti commented: “Our idea for this video was to transform that aspect of Korn’s DNA, what makes them so inspiring, their blend of raw power and transporting aesthetics and human emotion. I wanted to take the viewer on an emotional journey, as the music does, a cathartic visceral death and rebirth that will hopefully help transport the listener through whatever their personal struggles may be.”.
