About the bands
Mystifier is one of the pioneers of Brazilian black metal, hailing directly from Bahia. With over 30 years dedicated to black metal, Mystifier comes to KMF to showcase the power that has garnered a true cult following around the world.
DFC : the fathers of the '666 kids' are back at KMF. The band is unanimously considered a crossover favorite in Brazil, and for good reason: anyone familiar with DFC knows they have true anthems that have been rocking circle pits for almost three decades.
Cemetery : what started as a solo studio project created by Hugo Golon ( Side Effectz , Whipstriker , Flagelador , Comando Nuclear , Toxic Holocaust among others), has become a solid band, always remembered when the subject is death metal.
Eskröta : After the success with audiences and critics in our previous editions, Eskröta is back for another KMF, bringing the power of thrash metal combined with the rebelliousness of punk.
Escombro : For the first time at KMF, the São Paulo-based quartet Escombro fluidly blends the heaviness of metal-infused hardcore with the urban aesthetic of rap. With lyrics in Portuguese, Escombro brings freshness and originality to a sound that was established and consecrated in the 90s and 2000s.
Santa Muerte : Formed in 2012, Santa Muerte delivers a crossover sound in the best 80s style, adding that unique Brazilian flavor. Exuding charisma and energy, the band comes to KMF to the delight of mosh pit addicts.
