The 20th anniversary edition of Kool Metal Fest , taking place on March 11th and 12th, is taking shape with each announcement. The international act on both dates – Belo Horizonte (MG) and São Paulo (SP) respectively – is the classic American crossover band DRI ., currently on tour celebrating 40 years on the road.
Now the announcement is a double one, featuring national bands: Trovão (heavy/hard rock bands sung in Portuguese) will perform in São Paulo on March 12th at Carioca Club, and Falsa Luz (ranging from punk to black metal) will perform at KMF in Belo Horizonte the day before, on March 11th, at Mister Rock.
Online tickets for both events are available on the Clube do Ingresso or in person, free of charge, at Loja 255 (Galeria do Rock), but only with cash payment.

About the bands
Trovão, from São Paulo, is the perfect blend of hard rock, heavy metal, and AOR with an 80s vibe and lyrics in Portuguese. It's for fans of Harppia , Salário Mínimo , Dokken , Keel , and Judas Priest . The KMF stage will showcase musicians from the exciting 2021 Prisioneiros do Rock n Roll
Meanwhile, the miners from Falsa Luz, a band that emerged in the midst of the pandemic in the capital city of Belo Horizonte, bring a rawness and speed. "Claustrophobic and grey, and not so far removed from pieces of Mayhem 's Deathcrush , or Ildjarn , but with the guitar freedom of J Masci ," as they point out in their press release. Breu Eterno is the album they are currently promoting.
