The Knotfest organization is negotiating expansion into South America
Knotfest a festival created by Slipknot , may take place in São Paulo sometime in 2019.
The information has been circulating behind the scenes in the music world since the beginning of the year. Now, the festival organizers have confirmed their intention to expand the event to South America and other parts of the world.
Corey Brennan , from 5B Management , said he intends to take the festival to Moscow (Russia), South Africa, Santiago (Chile) and São Paulo.
This month marks the first edition in Europe, specifically in France, one day before Hellfest.
Bands such as Deftones, Bring Me The Horizon, Five Finger Death Punch, and Papa Roach have performed in previous editions.
