The organizers of Knotfest Brazil have announced that the first edition of the festival in the country has been officially postponed to 2022.

The event, originally scheduled for December 19, 2021, has been moved to December 18, 2022 (Sunday). "It wasn't an easy decision, but it's a necessary one for the safety of fans throughout Brazil, the production team, and the bands and artists," the organization wrote in a statement on social media.

“Even with the postponement, we believe it will still be an unforgettable day and promises to be a milestone in the festival's history in the country, with 12 hours of festival and lots of LIVE ROCK! 🤘🏽”

The organization also revealed that it will announce the lineup on August 17, 2021, so stay tuned to the event's social media and here on Wikimetal !

Meanwhile, Knotfest in the US will take place in Iowa in September. The lineup will include, in addition to Slipknot , Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb of God and more – see here.
