Knotfest Brazil 2024 will take place on October 19th and 20th at Allianz Parque in São Paulo.
The second edition comes with two new features: in celebration of their 25-year career, Slipknot has prepared a different presentation with a unique and unmissable set for each day, meaning the group will headline both days of the festival. The second new feature is that this will be the first time drummer Eloy Casagrande performs with Slipknot in Brazil.

Mudvayne (19/10)
The American band Mudwayne is coming to Brazil for the first time after achieving great success in the late 90s in the underground scene. Featuring members from the bands Hellyeah and Audiotopsy , such as Chad Gray and Greg Tribbett respectively, the group went on hiatus for almost a decade, returning in 2021.
Bad Omens (20/10)
Another debut on Brazilian soil is that of the band Bad Omens, which has been quite successful internationally. Formed in 2015, the group brings a metalcore sound, which many say is a mix of Bring Me the Horizon and Periphery .
Amon Amarth (19/10)
A band already more familiar to metal fans, Amon Amarth was formed in the early 90s and their lyrics feature mythological stories, especially from Viking culture.
Till Lindemann (20/10)
Rammstein vocalist Lindemann is coming to Knotfest with his solo project, following numerous requests for the band to come to Brazil.
Meshuggah (19/10)
Extreme and powerful, Meshuggah was formed in the late 80s in Sweden, incorporating various subgenres of metal and always experimenting with new things. Groove metal, progressive metal, and even alternative metal are and have been part of the group's sound. However, everything is done with weight and intensity.
BABYMETAL (20/10)
A Japanese band that has been gaining increasing prominence in the global metal scene is coming to Brazil for the first time. In Japan, the genre, which blends heavy metal and J-pop, is called kawaii metal and features strong metal instrumentation accompanied by a trio.
DragonForce (19/10)
Formed in the late 90s, DragonForce is a power metal band well known to metal fans. The British band was once considered one of the Big Four of power metal, alongside Helloween , Blind Guardian , and Sabaton .
POD (20/10)
The American band has explored various styles such as rap metal, nu metal, and alternative metal with hints of reggae. Today, the group presents a nu metal sound that many believe is used to add color to their Christian lyrics, although the band has never confirmed whether their music has any connection to religion.
Orbit Culture (10/19)
Hailing from Sweden, Orbit Culture was formed in 2013 and features a sound leaning towards melodic death metal and symphonic metal. The group has released four albums, the latest being Descent, from 2023.
Poppy (20/10)
The American singer began her career in 2011 as a songwriter, actress, and YouTuber. Since then, she has become famous in the metal scene for her surreal, almost alien-like vision and sound. Her latest album, Zig , was released in 2023.
Basement Rats (10/19)
Already a well-established band in Brazil, João Gordo and company were and still are part of the Brazilian punk scene and are a great example and influence for other groups in the genre.
Black Panther (October 20th)
Formed in Minas Gerais, the group has gained notoriety at festivals where they can showcase their thrash and hardcore punk sound. Their lyrics address themes such as politics, racism, and discrimination. The band's name is a tribute to the Black Panthers.
Krisiun (19/10)
The Brazilian band, formed in the 90s in Rio Grande do Sul, was one of the forerunners of brutal death metal worldwide. Always featuring aggressive vocals and incredibly fast instrumentation in their music, their inspirations are Black Sabbath and Dio .
Ego Kill Talent (20/10)
In 2014, Ego Kill Talent was formed in São Paulo, bringing hard rock and alternative metal to the national scene. The group has already gained notoriety in international rock, opening shows for big names in music such as System Of A Down, Foo Fighters, Shinedown, Within Temptation and more.
Project46 (19/10)
Another band that rock and metal fans are already familiar with is Project46, which has been active since 2008. The group, which plays metalcore, numetal, and death metal, has three studio albums and one EP. In Brazil, Project46 has already participated in major festivals such as Monsters of Rock in 2013, Rock in Rio in 2015, and Maximus Festival in 2016.
Korzus (20/10)
Korzus is another band formed in São Paulo. Formed in 1983, the group has gone through several lineup changes, but has always remained one of the biggest bands in the genre. In 2017, they were chosen by Loudwire as one of the best bands in Latin America.
Eminence (19/10)
Another band formed in Minas Gerais is Eminence, which emerged in 1995. The band's death metal and metalcore brought great notoriety to them, and they have already played at Rock in Rio in the 2015, 2019, and 2022 editions, in addition to several other international festivals.
Papangu (20/10)
Formed in 2012 in João Pessoa, Paraíba, the group is a mix of black metal, stoner rock, forró, maracatu, and jazz fusion. The band's name refers to Papangu, a character from the Bezerros Carnival, a traditional festival in the city of Bezerros, Pernambuco.
Kryour (19/10)
Based on melodic death metal and metalcore, the band was formed in 2014 and their debut album – and so far only one – Where Treasures Are Nothing was released five years later.
The Mönic (20/10)
A rising name in Brazilian rock, The Mönic released their latest album, a deluxe version of Cuidado Você , in July of this year. The band always emphasizes the importance of having groups led and formed by women. Their performance at the festival will be alongside Eskröta .
Eskröta (20/10)
Like The Mönic, the band highlights the importance of bands formed and led by women. Here, the only exception is drummer Jhon França . The group released the album Atenciosamente, Eskröta in 2023.
