Scorpions ' lead singer , Klaus Meine , underwent surgery to remove a kidney stone.
Because of this, Scorpions cancelled their performance in Sydney, Australia with Whitesnake .
Klaus Meine, 71, posted a photo from the hospital and sent a message to fans:
"Dear fans, the good news first: We played a fantastic show on Wednesday in Melbourne… I loved every minute… It’s so good to be back in Australia!!! The bad news is that I had to have surgery to remove a kidney stone at a hospital in Melbourne… It was a very painful attack…."
They removed the stone and put in a stent… Can you imagine how I'm feeling right now?
Oh dear, Sydney… Will we have to cancel again??? It looks like it… but we hope to reschedule for next week.
Dr. Katz and his team are taking very good care of me… I’m in excellent hands, but I doubt I’ll be on my feet before the start of next week… With much love and a heavy heart, from Melbourne… Klaus.”
