KK's Priest released the single "Reap The Whirlwind" last Friday, the 28th. The track is part of the band's new album , The Sinner Rides Again , which will be released on September 29th.
Regarding the meaning of the song, KK Downing comments: “'If you sow the wind, you will reap the whirlwind' – this is a common phrase that has been familiar to me since I was very young. Obviously it is very significant – it's a warning that if you mistreat people, or whatever you do in life, you need to be very careful, because any suffering you inflict on someone can come back to haunt you, and your suffering can be even more severe.”
“Everyone, consciously or unconsciously, has made the mistake of thinking they can get away with petty crimes to satisfy their selfish desires, but if justice is served, you will reap exactly what you sow. That is the message of this song,” he concludes.
KK's Priest is the name of the band formed by two former members of Judas Priest : guitarist KK Downing and vocalist Tim “Ripper” Owens . The group's first album, Sermons of the Sinner , was released in 2021.
