KK's Priest releases electrifying video for “Hellfire Thunderbolt” and announces album 'Sermons Of The Sinner'

The debut album from the band formed by former members of Judas Priest arrives on August 20th.

KK 's Priest is preparing to officially release their debut album, Sermons Of The Sinner . With a release date set for August 20th, the album is already available for pre-order by accessing this link.

To kick off the promotional process, the band released the new single "Hellfire Thunderbolt," a powerful song that received an electrifying performance-based music video, featuring pyrotechnic effects, light shows, lots of smoke, and visual effects. Watch it at the end of this post.

KK's Priest is a recently formed band consisting of KK Downing and Rim “Ripper” Owens , both former members of Judas Priest , along with guitarist AJ Mills , bassist Tony Newton , and drummer Sean Elg. Regarding “Hellfire Thunderbolt,” Downing said he was “delighted” with the release: “It gives a taste of our sound and showcases the incredible musicians we have in this band. We can’t wait for the fans to hear the album.”

Sermons Of The Sinner arrives in August with 10 tracks, and its tracklist and cover art have been revealed. Both can be seen below. The album is available for pre-order in various configurations, including an exclusive limited edition autographed metallic vinyl with a bonus CD.

KK's Priest's debut album is meant to celebrate Downing's roots in classic metal and is a gift to the genre's loyal fans. “I'm talking about the die-hard fans who don't abandon ship,” says Downing. “They're not going to jump into a different genre just because several of their heroes are dying. And that feeling is present on the album, when we talk about the title track, 'time is running out for us, things may never be the same again, but the sermons from the sinners' center can help us rise again.' Because you never know when your last show will be your last show, so to speak.”
