No Fuckin' Regrets podcast with Robb Flynn of Machine Head , guitarist KK Downing touched on a personal matter and explained why he has never been married. Now 70 years old, Downing leads the band KK's Priest , Judas Priest colleagues Tim "Ripper" Owens and Les Binks .
During the conversation, the guitarist blamed himself for not having started a family over the years. "I kind of messed everything up, to be honest," he said. "I have to take the blame because they [his ex-girlfriends] can't all be wrong."
Downing also commented that in his youth he found it difficult to commit to a serious relationship, especially during the 1980s. “It’s hard to commit when you travel to different cities and meet nice girls,” he said. “And then you reach a certain age and things change [laughs]. Things change a lot.”
Currently, KK Downing is promoting KK's Priest's debut album, Sermons Of The Sinner , and spoke to Wikimetal about plans to tour and the possibility of playing shows in Brazil.
