In an exclusive appearance on The Wikimetal Happy Hour , guitarist KK Downing spoke about tour plans that were postponed due to COVID-19 and listed Brazil as one of the countries that were expected to eventually host KK's Priest .

“We have opportunities, but they’re all scattered at the moment,” Downing says. “There are some shows in Japan, some in Brazil, some in Ukraine, Spain, Finland… They’re all spread out, so we’re trying to bring them together to get a good international team.”

The guitarist emphasized the importance of the promoters' work in securing a tour around Latin America and even Central America so that the band could finally promote their debut album, Sermons Of The Sinner . He also spoke about the delays in the album's release, which arrived in October but had been planned for much earlier.

“We were going to release the album by the end of April [2020], but unfortunately COVID happened and the lockdowns, so the shows were cancelled. We had some really good shows booked. The same thing happened this year, so I told the record label that we needed to release the album,” Downing says.

The guitarist said he was happy with the album's release because now KK's Priest can focus on relearning the songs and preparing for live shows, as well as pressuring their managers to schedule new dates. Check out an excerpt from the conversation:
