The announcement of the KK Downing auction was made by the Bonhams auction house
A collection of studio and stage equipment belonging to guitarist KK Downing will be auctioned next month.
The international auction house Bonhams has announced the sale of eleven guitars belonging to Downing, including the 1967 Flying V, which was KK's main instrument on several Judas Priest.
Other items for sale starting December 11th in London include Marshall amplifiers, an FX guitar, and a pair of leather jackets from the Turbo and Screaming For Vengeance.

KK announced his retirement from Priest in 2011. Since then he has been replaced by Richie Faulkner , who was previously the guitarist for the backing group of Lauren Harris , Steve Harris 's daughter .
