The thirteenth season ends this week
The legendary band Kiss will perform in the final episode of the 13th season of American Idol, along with one of the finalists, Caleb Johnson, who has already sung songs by Whitesnake , Rush , and Led Zeppelin throughout the season.
The episode will be presented in 2 parts, this Tuesday and Wednesday, May 20th and 21st.

The band had already performed on the 2009 edition of the show with Adam Lambert on vocals for a medley of Detroit Rock City and Rock And Roll All Night . Lambert, who gained prominence precisely because of his participation in American Idol, is preparing to start a world tour with Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen .
Aerosmith and Judas Priest have also performed live on American Idol in past seasons.
