Kiss will not have "six faces in makeup" at a possible reunion with Ace Frehley and Peter Criss.

The band's manager spoke about invitations for a farewell show with former members.

With the end of Kiss 's farewell tour drawing , the possibility of Ace Frehley and Peter Criss taking the stage again is becoming an increasingly urgent topic. One of the obstacles, according to the band's manager, is the issue of makeup.

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley already invited the classic former members to participate in the End of the Road Tour to honor and conclude the band's story with everyone who started this journey. The invitation would only be for a guest appearance, but how would Ace and Peter get on stage, after all?

Manager Doc McGhee commented in a recent interview with VWMusic (via Blabbermouth ) that nothing is set in stone regarding this reunion on stage. “They may or may not come. We’ve spoken to them about it,” he said. “Well, we haven’t spoken to Peter, but we have spoken to Ace. You know what? They were part of this, they helped start this band, and they should be part of this closing act.”

Regardless of whether the former members decide to accept the invitation or not, one thing is certain: there will only be one Spaceman and one Catman on stage at Kiss's final show. "You're not going to have six guys in makeup up there. That's not going to happen," McGhee stated.

Would the founding members of Kiss be able to give up the makeup and persona they created to participate in the band's final show? The performance is scheduled for early 2023.
