The request worried the band's fans

According to the website Vintage Vinyl News , KISS Catalog Ltd., the organization that owns the intellectual property rights to the band Kiss, has filed a trademark application for "The End of the Road".

If the request is approved, the expression will be protected from any other entertainment service that attempts to use it commercially. The right has been specifically reserved for the live music performance market.

The news worried fans of the group, as they speculate that the name was chosen for a possible farewell tour. If true, this will be the second time Kiss has said goodbye to the stage, the first being in 2000 with the Farewell Tour which reunited the original lineup – Gene Simmons, Peter Criss, Ace Frehley and Paul Stanley.
