Kiss FM , a radio station dedicated to rock and roll, celebrates 23 years of history on World Rock Day, July 13th.

To celebrate, there will be a music-filled event at Tokio Marine Hall in São Paulo. Confirmed bands include Ultraje a Rigor , Raimundos , 365 , and Normalayze .

Founded on July 13, 2011, Kiss FM focuses on rock and roll, but also features a varied programming schedule, including news, interviews, movies, and extreme sports. 

Kiss radio station has some new programming. The second edition of “10 da Kiss” returns to its 5 PM timeslot, Monday through Saturday. Immediately following, from 6 PM to 8 PM, is “Alternativa Kiss,” hosted by Titio Marco Antonio and Rosângela Alves. And from Monday to Friday, from 8 PM to 9 PM, listeners can enjoy “Don't Stop Kiss,” an hour of music without commercial breaks.

Although it more easily attracts those who already enjoy rock music, Kiss is open to all audiences. The radio station's director, Tais Abreu, commented in a press release that "rock is for everyone, regardless of age and political, cultural, and entertainment preferences. Kiss's goal is to create a space for people to enjoy the contagious energy that only rock can offer."
