A fan realized there wouldn't be a live performance and requested a refund for the four tickets they had purchased

Kiss fan received a refund for a concert ticket after accusing lead singer and guitarist Paul Stanley of using playback, according to radio host Eddie Trunk.

The presenter revealed the information after a listener asked how many fans had requested refunds for bad rock band concerts. "I would be very disappointed if I paid a lot for a ticket and saw something already available on the internet," said one listener.

Trunk commented on the situation and said that Stanley is using playback, "Just go to Google or YouTube, and there are millions of examples. They even take down these videos because they are incriminating, but this has already been proven many times on the internet.".

Next, the radio host explained the story of the fan who complained about the event and requested a refund. “I know a guy who bought four Kiss tickets in Boston. He’d never seen the band live. Before going, he checked out videos on YouTube and realized there wouldn’t be a live performance, so he asked Ticketmaster, the company responsible for the tickets, for a refund.”

"A day later, Ticketmaster refunded him," Trunk added, recalling that the group has constantly been accused of lip-syncing, since Paul Stanley doesn't have the reach he once had.
