'Biography: KISStory' will air as a two-night special on the A&E channel.

The documentary Biography: KISStory , produced by the A&E channel, arrives in Brazil this weekend. Divided into two parts, the film covers almost 50 years of Kiss , from the beginning to their farewell tour .

Featuring footage from their childhood, concert recordings, and testimonials from key figures in the industry and the band's career, the documentary shows how Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley took their first musical steps in New York with the band Wicked Lester before forming Kiss with Ace Frehley and Peter Criss – who appear only through archival radio and TV material due to a lack of agreement for their participation in the project .

“KISS blew everything up with that nuclear combination: the light, the explosions everywhere, the fire. Nobody has done anything as grand as they did,” says Dave Grohl Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters .

"It's a band of superheroes: Paul Stanley is the mastermind, Gene Simmons is the one scaring the mothers, Peter Criss had his jazz rhythms, and lastly, Ace Frehley's timeless solos," declares Tom Morello , guitarist for Rage Against the Machine .

Biography: Kiss airs on A&E this Saturday and Sunday, August 21st and 22nd, at 10:30 PM. The channel is available on the following subscription packages: Claro, channels 138 and 638 (HD); SKY, channels 138 and 538 (HD); Oi, channel 72; and Vivo, channel 645.
