South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster declared February 11, 2020, as Kiss Day.
The governor presented the proclamation to the band backstage before Kiss at the Columbia Colonial Life Arena.
The speech urged residents to "enjoy rock and roll all night long in recognition of Kiss's contributions and achievements.".
According to The Post and Courier , McMaster and his wife, Peggy, spoke with the members of Kiss before standing to the side of the stage to watch the show.
The farewell tour End of the Road , began in January 2019 in Vancouver and ended on February 1st in Manchester. The final show of the tour will take place on July 17, 2021, in New York.
