Band works on official film
Kiss has chosen the director who will work on the documentary film about the band's history. Alan G. Parker, the chosen filmmaker, has previously worked with Monty Python and directed films about the Sex Pistols ( Never Mind The Sex Pistols ) and The Clash ( Rebel Truce: The History Of The Clash ).
Paul Stanley commented on the choice of director: “We are very excited to have Alan on board to tell the definitive story of Kiss, a story of insanity and dedication. Alan's knowledge of the band surprised us all.”
The director also said he was happy to be part of the project: "I'm proud to tell the story of a band that I love so much and that has such an incredible history."
"You Wanted The Best...You Got The Best – The Official KISS Movie" is scheduled to premiere in mid-2014.
