Kiss, Deep Purple, Nirvana, and Yes are among the 16 nominees for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place in April 2014 in New York.
In the 2013 edition, Rush was one of the bands inducted, and their performance of "2112" with members of the Foo Fighters was one of the highlights of the ceremony that took place in Los Angeles.
For the 2014 edition, fans can vote from today until December 10th on the official Rock and Roll Hall of Fame , and the 5 bands with the most votes will be "the fans' choice," which, along with 600 other choices from musicians, critics, and journalists, will determine the final list of bands that will actually enter the Hall of Fame in 2014.
