With their farewell tour halted by the pandemic, Kiss decided to commemorate the Farewell Tour with a new live album. The shows from 20 years ago marked Ace Frehley with the band.
The show in question was recorded on March 13, 2001, in Japan, for more than 55,000 fans. The recording will be released on the album Off The Soundboard: Tokyo 2001 Paul Stanley 's dialogue with the audience.
Following the Farewell Tour , the band returned in 2003 with a new lineup alongside the co-founders and Singer, with Tommy Thayer definitively on guitar. The album will be released on vinyl, CD, and digital platforms on June 11, 2021; see cover art and tracklist below.
