In an interview with Team Rock, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett talked about his solo on the track " The Unforgiven ." Check out his comment:
I like playing the solo from The Unforgiven because it's very dynamic. And often live I alter the solos a bit because I end up not liking what's on the album, I get bored with what was recorded, or I just want to play something completely different.
But the solo on "The Unforgiven" has changed very little over the years. It's probably one of the only solos I play exactly as it is on the album.
