Carlos Santana 's next album promises interesting collaborations. The guitarist confirmed Kirk Hammett of Metallica will be on the upcoming project – and left open the possibility of two other guest appearances.

In an interview with ABC News , Santana said that the time away from the stage was productive in recording new material. The Mexican guitarist already has three albums in the works, all started during quarantine. Blessings and Miracles , which doesn't yet have a release date, will be the first to reach the public and is already 90% finished. "My brother Kirk Hammet is playing [on the album], he's killing it," he commented.

In addition to Hammett, the project also has two other names in potential collaborations: Corey Glover , vocalist of Living Colour , and Steve Winwood .

“I feel truly grateful. I’m 73 years old and… Because of this time [of isolation] where I can just recharge and nourish myself… All the notes are truly succulent and powerful,” she commented on the break from routine and the focus on creativity.
