"I Am Broken Too" will be on Killswitch Engage's next album, Atonement.
Killswitch Engage has finally revealed the first music video from the band's new phase. "I Am Broken Too" is part of their upcoming album, Atonement .
The band is donating a portion of the song's profits to Hope For The Day, a suicide prevention NGO.
“This song is very close to my heart; it’s very dear to me,” explained vocalist Jesse Leach . “I wanted the listener to feel the urgency, the weight of the subject matter, as well as a possible connection. Many people suffer from mental illness in one way or another. I want nothing more than for people not to feel alone in this struggle.”
He also spoke about the music video: “The video is a reflection of real events that loved ones went through. The result is a powerful video that captures the essence and despair of the song.”
