Iron Maiden 's "Killers" was voted the best album released in 1981, with 40% of the votes. In second and third place were AC/DC's "For Those About To Rock" with 19% of the votes, and Ozzy Osbourne's "Diary Of A Madman" with 18%.
"Killers" is Iron Maiden's second album. It is the last with Paul Di'Anno on vocals and the first with guitarist Adrian Smith. The album was almost entirely composed by bassist Steve Harris.
“Killers” was also the first of a series of nine albums produced by Martin Birch, who worked with the band until “Fear Of The Dark” in 1992.
