Matadoro is a power trio originating from Miracatu, São Paulo, that blends elements of metal and hardcore.
Formed by drummer Alex ( Rocco ) in Curitiba, bassist Jr. Vasconcelos in São Paulo, and vocalist and producer JC in London, United Kingdom, the band is releasing a series of ten tracks that will be promoted over the next few months.
Active for over two decades, the group began during the teenage years of its members, when they played in bars and rehearsed in garages.
They have already participated in several festivals, winning the Best New Band category at the Ilha Comprida festival in 2004.
After a few years, the musicians reunited, with different life experiences and ways of making music.
