The guitarist stated that the new Megadeth album is still a priority

Kiko Loureiro , former guitarist for Angra and current musician with Megadeth , has announced that he is working on his next studio album, the successor to 2012's Sounds of Innocence.

"I'm in the pre-production phase of my new album," he told Blabbermouth , "I'm working on new songs and I'm going to record the drums next week."

The guitarist also revealed that he doesn't have a release plan, but guaranteed that it will only come out after the new Megadeth album, the successor to Dystopia (2016), which is currently in production.

No Gravity , the Brazilian artist's first solo album, was released in 2005 and would be his fifth album, while Megadeth's next work will be his second with the band.
