Megadeth guitarist Kiko Loureiro has announced that he is finalizing his fifth solo album. The album will be his first since Sounds Of Innocence , released in 2012.
In a video posted on the artist's social media, Loureiro explains his new album and extends a special invitation to fans: to be a part of the new project.
“I’m finally in the process of finishing my new solo album, and I’m excited to invite you all to be a part of it. Music is a passion we all share. It brings us closer together and reminds us that we have a connection. It celebrates, tells stories, and preserves moments in a world of change and confusion,” says Kiko.
The musician elaborates further on the process of creating an independent solo album: “The purpose of being completely independent with this project, and opting for crowdfunding , is to make it much easier for me to have the creative freedom to make music the way I want to, and to have you as collaborators and part of this process with me. It's that simple. I want to share this with you and promote the creativity and movement of this community.”
With this, those who participate in Loureiro's new album will hear it firsthand, have access to exclusive experiences, and even receive special products autographed by the guitarist.
