In this week's Wikimetal poll, Kiko Loureiro was voted the best Brazilian guitarist, with 39% of the votes. Andreas Kisser and Eduardo Ardanuy came in second and third place, with 28% and 17% of the votes respectively.

Loureiro began learning guitar when he was just 11 years old, inspired by Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, and Randy Rhoads. The guitarist is known for his career in Angra, his solo work, and more recently as a member of Megadeth.
