In an interview with a New Jersey radio station, Kiko Loureiro spoke about the differences between working with Angra and Megadeth . Check out the statement:

Kiko Loureiro rehearses Megadeth with his daughter

“Well, first of all, to compose the new Megadeth album “Dystopia”, I was invited by the band and a few weeks later I was in the studio. So basically I met everyone in the studio. Of course, I didn't start recording right away. I spent about three weeks there, watching Chris Adler record the drums and pre-production, so it was to get to know the guys better. That's the big difference. When you play with the same band for years and you know them for so many years and then you compare that to Megadeth, where I knew them for a few weeks and had to give my ideas and play with them… I think there's a good side to that, because everything is very new, the relationship is fresh, everyone is excited. On the other hand, I'm still learning what Megadeth is, what the band's concept is, how the fans react to things. I didn't know much of that. I mean, I knew the other side. But not from the internal perspective. That's different. Because to give ideas, to understand what the band was and what it wants to be, what the concept was before and what "It will be in the future… But all the excitement and new feeling you have is incredible. So I think in the end, the fans' reaction and the final result of the album, I think you can see that it's a good thing to have this new moment, this freshness and excitement of joining a band, working for a few weeks and trying to create the best album of all time.”
