Video shows 20 minutes of the band preparing for upcoming tour shows

Kiko Loureiro , guitarist for Megadeth , offers fans worldwide a behind-the-scenes look at the band's daily routine with videos showcasing their day-to-day activities. In preparation for upcoming dates on The Metal Tour of The Year , the musician shared 20 minutes of rehearsals and discussed difficulties with some of the songs.

In their first shows back after the pandemic, Megadeth constantly changed their setlist . Having been away for so long, Loureiro confessed to having difficulty playing some songs again, such as "Hangar 18". "I'm working on the ones that are most difficult for me, [I was] confused about the solos. Now everything is fine, it will be good for the tour," he said.

The chemistry between the band during rehearsals of classics like "Symphony of Destruction," "Conquer or Die," "Holy Wars... The Punishment Due," "In My Darkest Hour," and "Peace Sells" is evident, with mutual help to fine-tune the tracks under Dave Mustaine , final adjustments to stage setup, and moments of relaxation throughout five days of rehearsals.

In the images, bassist James Lomenzo , who replaced David Ellefson , appears completely at ease. The musician was recruited in August and had previously been in the band in 2006 and 2010, but is not yet the group's official new member.
