Kiko Loureiro is excited about the next chapter in his acclaimed career. In a social media post, Loureiro revealed plans for a new tour in Brazil in 2024.
Recently departed from Megadeth , the musician spoke about this new phase: "Expectations are extremely high, I'm super happy to be doing a tour of the same scale as the ones I've done with other bands, in renowned venues, for the first time."
Careful selection of songs
“This is the first time I’m putting my name out there and doing a show with the full band – bass and drums, rhythm guitar and myself – plus guests who will be announced later. I’ll be playing in some venues where I’ve played with Angra , and others that host big bands. It’s always an extra challenge to put myself in this position, but I like the challenge of playing in bigger venues, as a band.”
Kiko makes it clear that the performances will not be limited to his solo work: “I am preparing the setlist very carefully, so that it pleases everyone who has followed my career throughout all these years. It will be a complete show, as it should be done in terms of production, with lighting, sound, crew and everything that is so important and that I have always done with the bands, and now I will do in the solo shows.”.
